Ripple Effect
Ripple Effect was a series of outdoor concerts in June, 2018, at the Yasodhara Ashram in Kootenay Bay, B.C.
The singers and audiences traveled from the beach to a lavender field to a forest and to an orchard, with songs and poems in each place and also on the journey between them.
Then the choir sang in The Temple of Light, with the audience in the middle and the choir surrounding them.
The event was conceived, produced, and directed by Allison Girvan.
The 75-member group consisted of members of Corazón, students in the Community Through Choral Art program at Western University, and a number of Corazón alumni.
